Wine Club

We taste hundreds of wines each month, and if you stop by the shop most weekday afternoons, you will witness us busily sampling wines with importers and winemakers. From this, we identify two wines—unique and often scarce—with something special to say, which we then offer to our wine club members. In addition to the wine club selections, we also offer an optional bonus wine each month at a deep discount: something exceptional that you might ordinarily pass on due to the price, but with a fifteen percent discount to make it happen. We stock our bonus wines in limited quantities, so they are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Your wine club membership includes a newsletter that details the month’s selections, with recipes, gossip, and detailed information about the wines and growers we feature.

In addition to the wines and newsletter, wine club members receive ten percent off all purchases, tastings, and special events.

How it works

If you join between the first and the tenth of the month, you will receive the wine club selections for that month. If you sign up after the 10th, your first wine club selections will be available for pick-up the following month. We receive our wine club selections mid-month, and you’ll receive an email notifying you that your wines are ready to pick up at the shop. Note: We use Shopify to manage this recurring charge securely and do not store or have access to your credit card information.

Fine print

We bill club memberships on the second day of the month. Please note that no refunds are available after billing.

You must be 21 or over to purchase a wine club subscription.

You may cancel the wine club at any time. Just click the link included with each wine club email to cancel, or email us at info@louwineshop.com , and we will be happy to help. Members who cancel their wine club membership between the first and the tenth of the month will receive their wine club wines for that month.

If you cannot pick up your wine club selections, we’ll store them for you for two months, after which time we will cancel your membership starting the following month as a courtesy to you. Our shop has limited storage space, so we place unclaimed wines into general inventory after the two-month grace period elapses.
